I replaced a set on my old VTX with a set that I got
from J & P. Metzler 880's, off the net.

I've not bought cruiser tires here...yet...but I have bought motorcycle trailer tires and those for my dual sport bike thru this site. They ship really fast and have good prices. Right now they have free shipping too  grin

I am just speaking for myself and I may just be one of the unlucky ones, however the one and only time I have ever purchased anything on the internet and found something wrong with the product, it took them forever to correct the problem and I ended up paying for the return shipping. Now if I can't see or touch the item I want to buy, I will keep shopping.

There are millions of satisfied internet customers out there, unfortunately I am not one of them.

I remember a post about dated tires here. It would be impossible to check the date of manufacture by ordering on the net, thusly possibly getting a tire that is 8 years old or more. Like Swabby, I want to see said tire before I plunk down the bucks. Betty's bike is an 07, and the tires are dated '00. They were new when we bought the bike, but already 7 years old when installed on the Yamaha. Gotta watch that stuff.

I've only bought tires for the KLR online and I mount them myself.  I haven't ordered any for my street bike becasue I'd have to pay to have them mounted and balanced.  Shops don't like to mount other people's tires. Here's where I got 'em, they have some real good prices.

Thanks Everyone,

After many hours of cruising the internet and comparing prices, shipping, tubes,,etc....
I have come to the conclusion that....I WAISTED MY TIME. Ha.
I just went to Xtreme Cycles in Midland and ordered my tires.

After all that trouble I learned that while one site might have a cheaper tire price their shipping will be higher/ or visa versa.

And like one of y'all said if there's any problems it would take forever to correct. Oh well,

Thanks for all of your help.
