Willhoite’s Restaurant in Grapevine, Texas didn't impress me much as a home town bar...guess I was expecting Ted Dansen to be tending and Shelly Long to be running the cash register.  I didn't have a meal there, just a Guinness, but other folks say the food is good.  My review of Willhoite's rated them as somewhat mediocre and the staff not belligerent but not very friendly, either.

To be fair, I've only set foot in there the one time, and I've received some heavy criticism of my review.  I'll have to give them another chance one day soon.

Anybody else have an opinion on them?

Friend took me there past  Sunday  7-12-10   Now this was early evening  about 6:30 . Place seemed to have some regulars.  We found a pool table on a second level.  They weren`t serving food at the time we were there.   I got to visiting around as I usally do  with people.  Most said the food was OK, not great   just ok.  The old style of the bar was cool, I had rarley seen places like it .  The service was very good. even being on  a second level we were ck`d regularly.  If visiting there I`ll probably go again.    All in all  We enjoyed ourselves.    WP
